Access to protected documents
The uscms-up-phase2 egroup controls the access to the LoIs because they may contain confidential information.

Uploading documents to DocDB
Select the USCMS-UP-PHASE2 group in the "Who can see this?" and "Who can modify this?" part of the DocDB upload web form to ensure that the correct people will then have access to them.

These files are available from the CMS-doc-12146 record in the CMS DocDB document database.
How to upload proposals to DocDB
All of the USCMS Phase 2 Upgrades proposals should be stored in DocDB.
N.B. The associated budget file (Excel) and supporting material (e.g. letters) must be uploaded as additional files in the same DocDB entry as the proposal.
- Use the DocDB upload web form to upload the files for the proposal.
- Under Local file upload click Browse and select the file for the proposal to upload
- Add additional files if need be.
- Click the Main check box for the proposal file only.
- Under Who can see this? and Who can modify this? click "advanced" and then select USCMS-UP-PHASE2 from the pull-down menu.
- Under Topics, click the plus sign next to Countries, then the plus sign next to USA and so on. Then tag as many or as few topics as you wish by clicking the little square checkbox.
- Finally click Submit document and check that the resulting DocDB entry looks correct. If not, click Update Metadata" or "Update Document" as required.
