The CMS Collaboration is proud to announce the recipients of the 2024 Industry and Partner Awards, which recognise the vital contributions of our partners in advancing the experiment's capabilities. This year, we honour two collaborators for their exceptional dedication and engineering prowess on key detector upgrades.

The Gold Award is presented to Sichuan Tianle Photonics Co., LTD for the challenging optimisation and successful production of packaged arrays of LYSO:Ce scintillating crystals for the barrel part of the MTD detector, and to the Institute for Rare Isotope Science (IRIS) for their outstanding dedication and exceptional manufacturing of GEM foils for the CMS ME0 project.

The unwavering commitment of these partners to delivering high-quality, innovative components is crucial to the success of our research, and we are delighted to celebrate their remarkable achievements.

The CMS detector is almost completely custom-made. We rely on our valued partners in the industry and beyond to help push the technology to the limit of what is currently available. We are grateful for the exceptional contributions to the successful realisation of very complex detectors for the CMS upgrade. These awards are presented to our exceptional partners who have accepted the challenge and gone above and beyond, delivering work that far surpassed our already very high expectations.
