Professor Englert, who won the 2013 Nobel Prize in physics along with Professor Peter Higgs, was at CERN to give a colloquium on "The BEH mechanism and its scalar bosons". Following his talk, he paid a visit to the CMS underground experimental cavern along with senior members of the CMS Collaboration [see photograph].
