The CMS Collaboration announces several new results for LHCP 2026.

Among the highlights are four new results including 2025 data, and two comprehensive performance papers.

CMS presents a competitive measurement of time-dependent CP violation in B → J/ψ KS decays, using data recorded in the years 2022–2025, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 274 fb–1. The production flavour of the B mesons is determined using opposite-side muon, electron, and jet taggers for B0, together with a same-side tagger for BS. The flavour taggers make use of state-of-the-art machine-learning techniques. The measurements are compatible with previous experimental results and with the standard model. The precision of the result in the B0 channel is close to that of a previous LHCb result. In the BS channel, the inclusion of same-side flavour tagging significantly improves the precision, surpassing that of previous measurements. [BPH-26-005]

A search is presented for leptoquarks coupling to third-generation quarks and first- or second-generation leptons, using an integrated luminosity of 220 fb–1, recorded in 2024–2025.  Scalar leptoquarks are excluded at 95% confidence level for masses below 1720 and 1860 GeV in the electron channel, and below 1760 and 1890 GeV in the muon channel, for left handed (LH) couplings (β = 0.5) and right-handed (RH) couplings (β = 1), respectively. These constraints are the most stringent to date. Previous limits obtained with Run 2 data were around 1450 (1600) GeV for LH (RH) couplings. [B2G-25-011]

A search for high-mass vector bosons Z′ decaying into a pair of electrons or muons makes use the full Run 3 data set collected between 2022 and 2025, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 283 fb–1, more than double the amount of data obtained in Run 2. The analysis sets the most stringent limits to date on the mass of Z′ bosons of 5.55 (4.95) TeV for Z′SSM (Z′ψ) bosons at 95% CL. [EXO-25-021]

The data from the oxygen-oxygen and neon-neon collisions recorded in 2025 are used to measure the three S-wave bottomonium resonances, Υ(1S), Υ(2S), and Υ(3S). The suppression of the excited states (2S and 3S) relative to the ground state (1S) is quantified using double ratios of Υ yields in ion-ion collisions relative to those in proton-proton collisions. A sequential suppression pattern is observed, with the more weakly bound states more strongly suppressed. [HIN-25-015]

Two comprehensive reports are presented on jet flavour tagging in the Run 3 trigger algorithms [BTV-25-002], and on the background estimation for jets from tau-lepton decays [TAU-25-001]. In both cases, the algorithms employ state-of-the-art machine-learning techniques.

Other new results comprise:

A search for GeV-scale dimuon resonances using CMS Run-3 parking data [EXO-25-019]; a search for long-lived particles decaying in the CMS muon detectors [EXO-25-005]; a search for light boosted diquark resonances with an ISR photon [EXO-24-027]; several searches for heavy top quark partners [B2G-24-020, B2G-24-005, B2G-24-016] using Run 2 data; a search for heavy neutral leptons in top quark decays [B2G-24-023]; a search for light pseudoscalar bosons from Higgs boson decays in the bbγγ final state [SUS-24-008]; a measurement of the differential cross section for isolated photon production [SMP-25-004]; a search for anomalous triple gauge coupling in semileptonic WV final states [SMP-25-001]; a comprehensive search for flavour changing neutral currents in top quark production and decay using effective field theory [TOP-25-015]; and the observation of a peaking structure in the Υ(1S)ϕ(1020) channel [BPH-25-009].

Here is a list of the results, along with links to the corresponding paper/PAS for each. More results will be added as soon as they are released.
